It all matters.

Today was one of those moments I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.

I had the opportunity to attend the Pinnacle Forum Series, sitting in a room filled with business leaders, CEOs, and executives from across Middle Tennessee. Just being in that space was humbling.

Five years ago, as a retired teacher, I never imagined I would be invited to something like this.

But today, I sat and listened to Peyton Manning and Jim Nantz share their stories, leadership lessons, and life experiences.

And what stayed with me most wasn’t just success—it was the foundation behind it.

Peyton talked about the influence of his dad, Archie Manning, and the values of discipline, humility, and consistency that shaped him long before the spotlight. He also shared lessons from coach Tony Dungy—about character, leadership, and doing things the right way.

It was a powerful reminder:

Success doesn’t happen overnight-it’s in the hard work, passion, and unselfishness.
Leadership is built in the small, daily choices-make a decision and stick to it.
How you treat people matters more than any title-As George W. Bush said, “Any definition of a successful life must include serving others.”

As I sat there, I felt grateful—and honestly, a little in awe.

Not because I didn’t belong… but because I could clearly see how every step of my journey led me there.

My 32 years in the classroom.
The relationships built over time.
The transition into real estate here in Murfreesboro.
The opportunity to help families buy and sell homes in Middle Tennessee.

It all matters.

And it all continues to shape how I show up for my clients every single day.

I left today feeling inspired—not to be someone else—but to continue growing into who I’m called to be.

✔ To lead with integrity
✔ To serve with heart
✔ To keep learning and growing
✔ To continue helping families find home in Murfreesboro and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area

Sometimes you find yourself in a room you never imagined being in.

And instead of asking, “Do I belong here?”
You simply say, “Thank you for the opportunity… now let me grow into it.”

Grateful for today. 🤍
