To Whom Much Is Given, Much Is Expected

🕊️ To Whom Much Is Given, Much Is Expected

“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded;
and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”
— Luke 12:48 (NIV)

This verse has always spoken deeply to me. I raised my two boys to know the responsibility we have. It reminds me that blessings aren’t meant to be kept — they’re meant to be shared.

In recent weeks, changes to SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) have gone into effect. While these updates are complex and often discussed in political terms, this post isn’t about politics — it’s about people. It’s about the parents standing at the grocery checkout line, wondering how to stretch their budget. It’s about the kids who rely on those meals to stay healthy and focused. And it’s about our responsibility, as neighbors and community members, to look out for one another.

If your family — or someone you know — has been affected by the SNAP cuts and is struggling to put food on the table, please know you are not alone. There are resources available, and there are people who care deeply about helping.

As someone who has been blessed with a strong community and a heart for service, I want to help however I can — whether that’s connecting you with local food programs, community pantries, or even helping directly at the grocery store.

You can reach out to me personally — no judgment, no questions asked — and I’ll do my best to connect you with the support you need.

Together, we can make sure every child — every family — in our community is cared for. Because when we are given much, we are called to give much. 💛
