As we round out Thanksgiving week, my heart is full. This season always reminds me to slow down, look around, and appreciate the people who make life meaningful—especially my family.
We just celebrated a big milestone:
my oldest grandson turned 13!
All he wanted for his birthday from me, his KK, was a BBQ dinner and a hiking trip with me. No big requests, no fancy plans—just time together. It’s such a beautiful reminder that the best gifts in life are simple moments shared with the ones we love.
And then there’s my younger grandson, the comedian of the family.
As we sat around after dinner, he got a call from Santa—who he lovingly calls “Ho Ho.”
Ho Ho asked if he had been a good boy this year. He paused… thought long and hard… then promptly hung up the phone with a loud, “Beep!”
When asked what he told Santa, he simply shrugged and said, “Nothing.”
I’m still laughing every time I think about it.
These little snapshots—sweet, funny, and real—are what make this season so special.
But as I reflect on blessings, I would be remiss not to express heartfelt thanks to my clients, past and present.
Thank you for trusting me over the years with one of life’s biggest decisions—your home. It is a privilege to guide you, advocate for you, and celebrate with you at the closing table. The process can be hard, stressful, and frustrating. Your trust throughout these days is everything.
And to everyone who has ever sent a referral my way: thank you. Your belief in my work means more to me than you know. Referrals are the highest compliment in this business, and I am truly grateful.
As we step from Thanksgiving into Christmas, I hope your home is filled with joy, your table with laughter, and your heart with gratitude.
Wishing you and your family wonderful holiday season.
